Our blankets are inspired and chosen to represent Cornwall but made in a lovely mill in Yorkshire. Abraham Moon & Sons have been making things from wool since 1837. Even though it's more expensive to do so we believe in keeping our manufacturing in the UK and eventually here in Cornwall.
As far as we can tell there is only one flock of Merino sheep in the UK. They reside in Devon and most of their wool goes to a select supplier. Moons get our Merino wool from South Africa. Our dream is to also have a flock of Merino sheep here in Cornwall but our climate is not their favourite and we will have to spend a lot of time planning for that expansion.
All orders are shipped the next day and will arrive within 3-5 business days. We will place your blanket lovingly into a recycled cardboard box, throw in some information about your blanket and get it on it's way as soon as we can.

The ‘Ocean’ is inspired by the Cornish coast. We are so blessed here to be able to venture into the water all year round. Whether it’s surfing on the North Coast in Porthtowan or swimming in the calmer waters of Swanpool.
The 'Saffron' | 100% Merino Wool
The ‘Saffron’ is inspired by Cornish baking and the cakes our Mums used to make us. Saffron is an integral part of the Cornish culture and its history. Exchanged with the Phoenicians for tin and copper from the Cornish mines.
